ungkapan Asy-Syaheed Sayyid Qutb di ambang kepulangannya kepada ar-Rahmaan

Ungkapan asy-Syaheed Sayyid Qutb di ambang kepulangannya kepada ar-Rahmaan:

Seandainya kau tangisi kematianku
Dan kau siram pusaraku dengan air matamu
Maka di atas tulangku yang hancur luluh
Nyalakanlah obor buat umat mulia ini
Dan teruskan perjalanan ke gerbang jaya

Kematianku adalah suatu perjalanan
Mendapatkan Kekasih yang sedang merinduku
Taman-taman di syurga bangga menerimaku
Burung-burung berkicau riang menyambut ku
Berbahagialah hidupku di alam abadi

Puaka kegelapan pasti akan hancur
Dan alam ini akan disinari fajar lagi
Biarlah roh ku terbang mendapatkan rindunya
Janganlah gentar berkelana ke alam abadi
Nun di sana fajar sedang memancar

Assalamualikum wbt...

Mmmm... Esok jumaat 15 Julai 2011. Aku akan kembali ke pangkuan keluargaku. YEehhaaa!!!! Alhamdulillah. Xsabar rasanya. Dah 12 hari aku kat Labuan ni ha. Torture yg amat. Macam dh setahun dah rasanya. Huhu...

Malam ni nak kena packing la plak. Baju pn tgh basuh lg ni, harap by awal pagi kering la, senang aku nk pack up. Satu apa pun tak kemas lg ni.

Mmmm... Ni adalah detasmen paling xguna skali. Bukan apa, biasanya kalau datang detasmen aku ada je mood nak belek2 buku ke, ebook ke. At least ada la something aku baca. Tapi kali ni, sepanjang 12 hari aku kat labuan ni, mood nak membaca langsung tadak!! Mmmm... Ntahla. Pressure kot. Apa yg pressure sangat aku pn tak tau. Yang aku tau... Aku xde mood!!!

Citer banyak pun tak guna, aku nak packing, aku nk basuh baju, aku nak tu, aku nak ni... Tapi bila teringat nak mengadap balik keje kat ofis tu, tensenku datang menjelma. Aduhhh... I need a vacation!!!

Adam, nantikan kepulangan ayah esok. Miss u, miss ur mami.

Peludah Warna

Peludah Warna

A Samad Said | 7 Jul, 11 7:46pm

Kuasa gusar kini menggelegak murka;
warna kuning diisytihar racun terbisa.
Diragutnya baju-T segeram tenaga
dan diumum itulah busana bahaya.

Tapi, kita jahit semula perca kain,
menjadikannya panji terindah dan tulen.
Warna kuning yang teramat tenang dan syahdu
kita kembalikan damai ke dalam qalbu.

Kini cahaya mentari mungkin diramas
dan sinar kuningnya juga mungkin dicantas.
Memanglah mereka kini peludah warna
sedang menghimpun lendir kahak sebanyaknya.

Kerana nikmat amat lama berkuasa,
kuasa pun seolah menjadi hartanya.

Bangla Korek Idung

Assalamualaikum wbt

Lama gak aku tak mengupdate blog aku, lebih seminggu dah. mm... sibuk sgt. kalau kat tmpt keje tu mmg sibuk la kan. kalau kat rumah pun sama gak, ada je aktiviti nak dibuat, spt tido ke, bermalas-malasan ke, termenung ke... hahaha.

Nak di jadikan cerita, ahad lepas, aku gi ke sebuah pasaraya la kan, lepas gi kenduri kawin kat Pandan Lake Club. konon nak cari walker untuk adam (tp beli benda lain la plak... huhu). dekat kul 6 tu aku pun gi la ke surau untuk solat asar. masuk dalam tu, macam biasa la kan surau kat pasaraya nih, hongap gila tahap bau muntah punya. nampak la sorang mamat bangla ni baru abis semayang kot, tgh duk sikat2 rambut. aku rasa dia ni pekerja JJ kot. mmmm... tgh2 dia duk membelek2 muka dgn selamba mak nenek dia dia amik kain semayang kat ampaian sebelah dia tu lalu mengelap lubang idung yang ala2 shah rukh khan tu, sepenuh hati lak tu. macam haram, takde kesedaran sivik langsung. dah puas dia membersihkan lubang idung beliau, beliau pon selamba campak balik kat ampaian.beliau lalu keluar meninggalkan surau. ishhh... suka hati dia je.

mmm... lps ni sure aku tak guna dah kain sembahyang kat mana-mana surau. fobia la aku. huhuhuhu...

sekian untuk kali ini.

Berenang kembali setelah sekian lama...

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Lama betul tak berenang kat KRTU, tadi berenang jap, best betul, nikmatnya gila rasa badan. (last time jogging pun dah tak ingat bila). Mmm... tak tau la apsal sblm ni malas gila nak gi berenang, kan dah naik perut tu. padan muka.

Next time bawak adam plak la. Macam best je ek. hehehe... tp nak ke mami dia ikut skali. Try pujuk la nanti. taknak ikut pun takpe, ayah adam bleh handle sorg diri. hehe....

Next time pegi labuan aku nak berenang kat pantai la plak, baru mencabar, adventurous. Best tu. hehehehe....

till next time. :)

ISA DEVIATION

Although meteorological observation are made in figures, it is usuaal, when making calculations involving aircraft performance or correctionn to instuments, to consider them relative to the ISA.  These are known as "ISA deviations".

If for instance, the observed temperature were 5degC warmer than that expected in the ISA, then the deviation would be +5degC.

For calculation example; let say we are flying at FL170, the outside air temperature is -18degC (after consider the friction effect):

the ISA temperature: 15degC + (-1.98x17) = 15 - 33.66 = -18.66

ISA deviation woulde be:  difference between ISA Temp and OAT = (-18.66) - (+5) = -23.66

That means, duiring that flight, the actual outside air temperature  is WARMER compared to the FL170's ISA temperature by 23.66degC. Normally in performance charts they'll write kinda like this... "ISA Deviations +23degC".

HAPPY FLYING!!!

TROPICAL AND SUMATERA SQUALL LINES

SQUALL LINE, TROPICAL SQUALL LINE

Meteorologist usually define a squall line as a line of thunderstorms. A tropical squall line is associated strong convective activity and consists of clusters of rain cells whose physical dimension can be several hundred kilometers. The individual rain cells tend to be aligned at the forefront of the squall line. Since the associated wind gust fronts of the individual rain cells usually merge to form a single gust line, it seems to be appropriate to call such rain event squall line.

SUMATRA SQUALLS

“Sumatra Squalls” are tropical squall lines or thunderstorms that affect the Malay Peninsula and Singapore. During the colonial period (before 1962), the British meteorologists at the forecast offices in this region called this special type of thunderstorms “Sumatra Squalls” because they believed that they have their origin at the island of Sumatra. Later weather satellite observations have shown that the Sumatra Squalls are often triggered
by the arrival of equatorial super clusters of thunderstorms (a component of the Madden–Julian oscillation) that propagate into the region from across the Indian Ocean (from the crest).

THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUMATRA SQUALLS

Weather radar images have revealed that the development of a Sumatra Squall starts with strong convective activities in the Malacca Strait during the night. Individual rain cells begin bubbling up in the Strait of Malacca from about 2000 local time.As the convective cells grow more widespread and intense, they align themselves into a line, sometimes extending more than 300 km from south to north. During the night, the line of thunderstorms are held off the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, probably by land breeze. During sunrise, they sweep in over land, generating in the early morning hours strong gusts and heavy showers in Singapore and the southern region of Malaysia.

International Standard Atmosphere (ISA)

For a variety of reason it is necessary to establish a standard average atmosphere, describing variations in temperature, pressure and density throughout altitude.

There have been several Standard Atmospheres, but the one in general use now is the 'ICAO ISA', dated 1964 which covers from -16,400ft (-5km) to 262,464ft.

The ISA is needed for:-

a) the calibration of aircraft instruments.
b) the design and testing of aircraft.

The ICAO ISA is defined as follows:

a) a MSL temperature of +15°C,
b) a MSL pressure of 1013.25 milibars,
c) a MSL density of 1225 grammes/cubic metre,
d) from -5km, a lapse rate of 1.98°C/1000ft (6.5deg/km) up to 36,090ft (11km),
e) a constant temperature of -56.5°C up to 65,617ft (20km),
f) an increase of temperature of 0.3°C/1000ft (1deg/km), up to 104,987ft (32km).

Majulah Malaysia

Majulah Malaysia

by Sutan Mustapa on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 9:18am
I am originally from the N9 but have now lived in East Malaysia for the last 6  years. I used to lived in Sarawak for 5 years during 1980s. I have experiences staying in UK almost 2 years in 1990s. I as a  truly Malaysian sometime dreaming why my country if would not better than UK but still not far behind. I wonder why Singapore at one time before 1980 at the same  level with us ie: 1 Singapore dollar is equal to 1 ringgit. Today RM 1 valued only 40cent of Singapore dollar. I used to visit singapore regularly for shopping at the time. Now we are far behind of Singapore and Singapore is much better than UK. Singapore now is no 7 in the world’s rangking in the standard of living, economicly, in education but not politically.
Malaysia is in some ways still a land that is blessed by God. It is largely free from large scale natural disasters and its land and shores are rich in natural resources. Sabah and Sarawak are filled with wonderful places to visit and its beaches, rainforests and climate bring many visitors from across the globe. Moreover its peoples throughout the federation are mostly incredibly friendly, hospitable and kind-hearted to locals and visitors alike notwithstanding their race or religion.

Malaysia boleh! Malaysia really can be better. And that is truly why I and other like-minded Malaysians have decided to come back. We can have the tallest twin towers in the world but yet many large towns on the east coast of Sabah have interrupted power supplies on a regular basis.
Needless to say the interior villages have it much worse. We talk about Johns Hopkins medical facilities in the country but yet many district and even general hospitals in the country have inadequate or often poorly functioning equipment.
Our people are keen to learn and gain skills but when our expatriate communities try to come home they are often met with stifling bureaucracy. I personally asked the head of a university department if I could have a look around the department whilst still overseas with the purpose of evaluating if I could contribute at the department on my return. I was told flatly that the department was full and a visit would not be encouraged.
Conversely my request to visit or co-operate with “Ivy league” universities in Europe have always been greeted with enthusiasm. However, on a more positive note my experience has been different with other departments. Unfortunately the former experience has also been reported by other Malaysian expatriates.
The federal government has been talking about cutting wastage. Good idea! Let’s start with middlemen functions that have no or little value added purposes. Why is around three per cent of public hospitals’ drug budget given to companies that simply order drugs, which the hospitals can do themselves. These companies do not make, package or deliver the drugs at all.
Our media talks about Bumiputera rights. However, I hear constant complains from East Malaysian native Bumiputeras claiming that they get fewer opportunities for jobs and government contracts because they are non-Muslims. Where in the federal Constitution does it say that Bumiputeras are given preference based on their ethnic or religious backgrounds?
In Sabah, you will hear complaints from every ethnic group that the state has large communities of illegal immigrants and people who have been given ICs illegally. Our federal government is in talks with the Australians currently about potential immigration co-operation yet Sabah’s longstanding immigration issues remain unresolved. Where are our government’s priorities? Our own nation’s or other’s?
One of the most striking differences on my return that I have noticed is the main issues discussed daily in our media. In Europe, the important issues are mainly economic growth, educational progress, good and accessible healthcare. In Malaysia sadly and significantly more so than in the past, it is about race, religious issues and political voyeurism. Lately about phonography…blue film…mysterious sucide…killing own baby…drugs. Muslim can take beer as long as mimimum of alcohol.
Isn’t our nation’s prosperity, our children’s education and our parent’s healthcare infinitely more important than the colour of our skin or the private lives of our people? Despite the guarantees of religious freedom in the constitution and the respective 18-point and 20-point agreements promising the same for Sabah and Sarawak, our politicians continue to use these sentiments to divide the people and certain paternalistic authorities continue to force their religious views and practices on what should be personal decisions for the people.
Yet “Malaysia boleh”, “1 Malaysia also can” — if we the people of Malaysia whether staying, left or returning — stand up and unite against the divisive, corrupt and intolerant elements of our society and demand that whoever our political leaders are, that they act as they say.
* We asked readers to tell us in their own words why they stayed in Malaysia… instead of migrating. This is one of the stories. Was from Malaysia Insiders but this lament senteces were common for every Malaysian. Lets we share and care. Thankyou
